Individual Work ยท Families ยท Narrative Support

For the creative. The curious. The in-between.

Being creative and curious means building a life out of ideas, uncertainty, and the relentless pressure to make something worth making. That is extraordinary work. It also asks a lot of you.

This is a space to think, feel, and figure out what's next, with someone who understands the particular texture of a life built on creativity, curiosity, and constant change.

Who This Is For

People who see the world differently.

ย

Artists, writers, musicians, academics, entrepreneurs, students, and the people who don't fit neatly into any of those categories but recognize themselves in all of them. People whose inner life is rich and whose outer life doesn't always know what to do with that.

Families in the middle of memory change, caregiving, or a transition nobody prepared for. People standing at a threshold between who they were and who they are becoming.

The work is personalized and clinically informed. It draws on narrative psychology, family systems thinking, somatic approaches, and object-based work to help you make sense of what's happening, in your work, your relationships, and the stories you tell yourself about who you are and what you're capable of.

You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from this kind of support. You just have to be someone who takes their inner life seriously.

The Connection

Creativity and identity are threshold work.

Most of my professional work is about what happens to people when life changes in ways they didn't entirely choose, when identity feels less steady, when the sense of who someone has been gets harder to hold onto.

That is also the texture of a creative life. The in-between of projects. The question of whether the next thing will be good enough. The way rejection hits differently when the work is personal. The identity shift of finishing something you cared about and not knowing what comes next.

Creativity is how many people stay most fully themselves. When that feels blocked, or fragile, or uncertain, it's not a productivity problem. It's an identity question. And that's exactly the territory I work in.

What We Might Work On

Every engagement is different.

These are some of the areas that come up most often with creative and curious people.

ย
Stress, anxiety, and the particular weight of creative uncertainty
ย
Performance anxiety and fear of public exposure
ย
Creative and academic blocks
ย
Perfectionism and imposter syndrome
ย
Managing rejection and the vulnerability of making things
ย
Identity in transition, between projects, roles, or chapters
ย
Balancing creative work with the rest of life
ย
Navigating industry change and uncertainty
ย
Relationships and the dynamics that form around creative work
ย
Grief, loss, and what remains on the other side

Two ways in

Therapeutic Coaching or Narrative Coaching.

Therapeutic Coaching

A relationally grounded process of exploring what's happening beneath the surface โ€” the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that shape how you move through your work and your life. Clinically informed, deeply personal, and tailored to where you are right now.

Narrative Coaching

A forward-focused approach that works with the stories you tell yourself, the beliefs that limit you, and the narrative you want to move toward. Particularly useful for people seeking personal growth, exploring what comes next, or working through a significant transition.

Sessions are held via a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. On-location sessions can also be arranged where appropriate. Rates start at $225 per session.
