Over the years, though, I’ve spoken with thousands of teens, families and community leaders to see what works and what doesn’t. I have studied the language of teens at home, school, in the community and more. Through that, I have figured out simple hacks to help you earn the right to be heard. (Yes, you read that right; as adults, we have to earn the right to be heard. Otherwise, again, we are just noise.)
